Occhio della Capra (Eye of the Goat Italiano)

One of our most popular beans, Ojo de Cabra (Eye of the Goat), has been a problematic crop. We think we’ve figured things out, and we’ll be offering it again in the future, but we found some Italian seed stock, and it did pretty well! Grown on the West Coast, it’s very similar to Ojo de Cabra but not exactly the same so we’re calling this one Occhio della Capra. Still thin-skinned, rich, and hearty, this is a winner.

Remember that CH is a hard K sound in Italian, so you’d say Oak-Yo for Occhio, but we will only pay a little attention and no judging!
